Launching 2022 with a jam-packed market weekend
A VERY happy New Year to our entire market family! There’s definitely a buzz of excitement regarding what 2022 holds. Can you also feel it?
We’re proud to be part of our beautiful town’s accomplishments this past year, where we stood together as a community. This town certainly knows how to support each other when times get tough. We’re even MORE positive for the adventures that await in the new year.
So why not kick the year off with a BANG? We’ll be hosting our usual Saturday market on 1 January and a Sunday POP-UP on 2 January. Come spend the holiday season with us, under the cool oak trees and have fun shopping, eating, drinking and dancing. We’ve got it all for a fun day out with the family, friends and furry friends (on a leash).

Let's introduce you to Elina van Tonder, who moved to the Cape Winelands from Russia after she fell in love with the Franschhoek community during a trip here. For Elina, it's quite simply the warmth of our wonderful community that keeps her here, given that people in Franschhoek truly try to support each other.
She joined the Franschhoek Village Market in 2019 with her cocktail lounge, serving an array of gin-infused drinks (and much more). Her mixology motto is to nourish, refresh and excite her customers through her delicious drinks. Doesn't that sound amazing?
