We're all about community

Browse and enjoy an exceptional selection of local fresh produce, delicatessens, craft beers, coffee brewers, and other treats. Or shop for unique craft, art, vintage clothing, and antiques - all carefully curated by us.

The Franschhoek Village Market is all about community - our locals, our international visitors and our traders. You’re a member of our market family, and we’re here to meet your needs, and provide a day to remember.

Meet the maker

Designed, sourced and made in Cape Town – it’s no wonder customers keep coming back for more of the Proudly South African Lapa Side clothing!

YOU KNOW IT IS SPRING WHEN...

- you suddenly don't need a jacket for your Saturday morning market wander

- coffee tastes even better when you're sitting outside

- the sunglasses come out, the dogs are keen for a walk, and the kids make a beeline for the play area

- treating yourself to a little market find feels completely justified

- the oaks start dressing for spring

- and you bump into someone you know. Because, after all, this is where locals meet
